On December 5, an important meeting for the development of China’s radio frequency identification technology, the Radio Frequency Identification Open Laboratory Board of Directors meeting, was successfully held in Beijing. This conference attracted attendees including China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute, Beijing CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd., Tianjin Zhongxing Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd., Ruixin Lianke (Beijing) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Tianchen Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Co., Ltd. Representatives from nine units including the company, Shanghai Xiupai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Fenghuo Communications Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhongxing Changtian Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Xi'an Advantage Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd. participated.
Zhao Bo, chairman of the Radio Frequency Identification Open Laboratory, emphasized at the meeting that since the establishment of the laboratory, it has always been committed to model innovation, mechanism innovation and technological innovation. In 2013, it made remarkable achievements in application promotion, standard formulation and external publicity. Zhao Bo called on member units to focus their efforts to jointly promote the development of the laboratory and reach a consensus on the technical route, focusing on the technology research and development, application promotion, industrialization and productization of independent innovation standards, while strengthening the publicity and promotion of independent innovation standards. Promotion work to provide users with comprehensive application solutions.
The meeting reviewed the work results of the RFID Open Laboratory in 2013. Member units conducted in-depth exchanges on the research and development progress of national standard products of GB/T29768-2013 "Information Technology Radio Frequency Identification 800/900MHz Air Interface Protocol" and GB/T28925-2012 "Information Technology Radio Frequency Identification 2.45GHz Air Interface Protocol" and jointly It said it would launch radio frequency identification chips that comply with national independent standards in 2014.
The RFID Open Laboratory has set clear work goals for 2014, including:
1. Give full play to the role of the RFID open laboratory, strengthen technological innovation and application promotion, and coordinate the provision of user solutions and technological evolution;
2. Concentrate numerous resources to collaboratively carry out major technology and application integration innovations, strive to achieve breakthroughs in key technologies such as benchmark tags and benchmark readers, and accelerate standards promotion and research on key technology standards;
3. Coordinate and cooperate with relevant application departments to strengthen industrial linkage and promote the formation of a sustainable development pattern;
4. Facing the international and domestic markets, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, and actively explore international collaborative innovation.
This series of measures aims to promote the development of China's radio frequency identification technology, giving it a greater say in the international market, while promoting the rapid development of domestic Internet of Things technology.
